These smart tags work brilliantly.
By that I mean they connected to my iphone and synced with the 'Find my Product' feature seamlessly.
I bought these for a recent holiday in the United States.
On switching the individual tags on, they 'beeped' as required in the 'simple to understand' manual and on opening the 'Find my product' screen, the tag showed up immediately.
It was simple then to allocate a specific name to each tag for identifying each individual case.
In operation, I was able to track my suitcases from the moment I left them at the departing airport to their arrival in the visiting airport - nice to feel that the luggage arrived where I was!
The tags are robustly made compact and can be used for simple uses such as attached to car keys or even schoolbags for younger people.
Happy to recommend as a five star product.

Cheaper than Airtags, but very easy to just switch off
Note that these are advertised on Amazon either as "key locator tags" or "luggage tracker tags" but in both cases it's the same Vocolinc VT2201 tag that's in the box. These are half the price of Apple Airtags, and have a hole for attaching to a keychain; if you want that with an Airtag you need to pay even more on top for a tag holder. Setup is simple, once you can find the Find My app (ironically Siri can't find the Find My app even if it's on your phone). Press the button on the tag briefly, you can now add an "other device" in Find My. Give it a name and you're done. Once you've named it you can go back and rename it or change its icon if you like. They're useful for keeping tabs on bags, etc. I wouldn't recommend them as key tags though, for one simple reason: a three second press (or a three second sit on the keys) turns the tag off, the tag is then unreachable until pressed again to switch it back on. If tracking a laptop bag or suitcase you'd want to tuck the tag in somewhere where it won't get squashed - or even noticed - as the entire case is the three-seconds-for-off button and you wouldn't want a thief to just find the fob and shut it down or cut it off. The instructions go as far as to say that a 7 second press will factory-reset the tag, but fortunately that doesn't seem to be the case. Other third-party tags are available from Amazon which can't be switched off so easily. If you want to track something bigger, such as a car, trailer or motorhome, you're better off hiding a phone with a cheap SIM - even a phone with a broken screen - somewhere in the vehicle and providing a permanent charging supply, as these can be tracked without thieves - who may also have the Find My app - being alerted that a tracker is travelling with them.

Le design compact et élégant en noir est discret, ce qui permet de les attacher facilement à n’importe quel objet sans les alourdir. La qualité de fabrication est excellente, et les matériaux utilisés semblent durables.
La batterie remplaçable est un autre point fort. Contrairement à d’autres localisateurs qui nécessitent le remplacement complet du dispositif lorsque la batterie est à plat, avec ceux-ci, il suffit de changer la pile, ce qui est à la fois économique et écologique.

👉 Lorsque que vous êtes dans le périmètre de portée pour le Bluetooth soit plus ou moins 60 mètres suivant les obstacles, il se connecte à votre portable.
👉 Il est possible de faire sonner l’objet pour pouvoir le retrouver plus facilement à l’oreille
lorsqu'il est connecté, je l’utilise par exemple avec mon porte clés et c’est vraiment pratique pour cette fonction.
👉 A plus grande distance il fonctionne avec l’appli Localiser mais pour que cela soit le plus précis possible, il faut d’autres utilisateurs d’appareils Apple à proximité donc cela donne juste une indication où se trouve l’objet sans être des plus précis. La bonne chose est qu’il est possible d’utiliser l’application "Localiser" puis d'aller sur "Itinéraire" pour rechercher un objet que ce soit à pied ou en voiture.
👉 Ce localisateur n’émet pas de notification sur l’iPhone d’un inconnu à proximité comme ce que l’AirTag officiel fait. Cette fonction est utile par exemple au cas où une personne male intentionnée veut pister votre voiture, dans ce cas vos iPhone vous préviens qu'un AirTag vous suit.
Ce localisateur est vraiment très pratique pour retrouver des objets à proximité et peut aider à plus grande distance, ce que j’apprécie particulièrement est qu’il soit très mince et en noir, par expérience cela est bien moins salissant qu’en blanc, pour ma part je recommande.
